A Virtual Fundraiser to Benefit The Nature Connection

Event debuts May 20, 2020  |  Silent auction open May 18 – May 22

Thank you to everyone who tuned in for our annual fundraiser to celebrate nature’s healing power. This year’s Inspire fundraiser was more important than ever in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. As people flock to hiking trails, parks, and their own backyards to find relaxation in nature, many of the people that we serve in our programs live in locked-door memory care or therapeutic group homes, and have limited mobility. This pandemic has further isolated them from the outdoors and each other.

By participating in Inspire, you helped to bring nature’s comfort and relief to kids, adults, and elders who need it now more than ever. Thank you!

We invite you to explore this virtual Inspire event page featuring a video welcome from Kim Simmons, our new Executive Director; a keynote address from Dr. Jeffery Perrin, Associate Professor of Psychology; a video tour of a program animal’s home; and more!

Donate your ticket

In lieu of purchasing tickets to an in-person event, we are asking our supporters to donate a ticket price of your choosing. Instead of going towards food and drinks, 100% of this donation will go towards supporting our mission to bring the healing power of nature to those who have limited to no access to the outdoors. Thank you for helping others during this important time!

Click on one of the amounts below to make your tax-deductible donation:

$300   Creates three unique nature crafts for kids confined indoors (equivalent to 4 tickets)

$150   Funds technology for online program activities (eq. to 2 tickets)

$75   Allows elders to hear spring peepers and frogs from their rooms (eq. to 1 ticket)

Other   Support accessible nature for all with a gift of any size
