Need a nature moment? Join us in experiencing the tranquility and spirit of nature. Get creative and curious while engaging the senses as we connect to & through nature. Enjoy a warm beverage (provided) while soaking in the restorative strength nature brings.

This is a hands-on program that focuses on the journey, not the destination. Our goal is for you to walk away feeling relaxed and restored – and ready to jump into spring!

If you’re a tea drinker this workshop is for you! This one will focus particularly on Chai, the Hindi word for tea, and its unique blend of warming spices. The main components of chai include tea, milk, spices, and sweetener. Get ready to dive into the world of chai, exploring the many variations on this exotic yet commonly enjoyed tea. Make a chai blend to take home and savor a steaming cup while you create your blend. We’ll also learn about the plants that the spices for chai come from.

  • Programs take place entirely indoors and are accessible to people of all abilities.
  • Please let us know if there are any reasonable accommodations that we can provide in order to help you enjoy your nature moment with us.
  • The Nature Connection is proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between the Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector, by broadening accessibility to cultural programming. Just send us an email (cardtoculture@nature-connection.org) if this is for you and we will send you back a promo code – for C2C, this workshop is $5.

The Nature Connection is located inside The Umbrella Arts Center, Studio #112 on the first floor. Use the main entrance, take a right, and we’re right at the end of the hall – see you soon! The Umbrella is ADA accessible with free public & street parking. We are also a convenient 10-minute walk over smooth ground from the commuter rail Fitchburg Line’s, Concord stop.

Registration Required – Space is limited
