The Nature Connection will be hosting an Animal Handling & Safety training on Friday, May 19 from 11:00am – 12:30pm at our office located at The Umbrella Community Arts Building, 40 Stow Street, Studio 112, Concord, MA 01742. This Animal Handling & Safety Training will be led by our Program Director, Taylor Eagan. After attending this workshop, you will gain an understanding of how to safely handle a variety of animals, including small mammals, birds, reptiles/amphibians, and invertebrates.

Our volunteer policy has changed as of April 1, 2023. All volunteers will now be required to attend an Animal Safety Training in order to handle animals at our programs. We will be offering these trainings every other month on an on-going basis. If you do not attend one of these trainings, you can still engage with our program participants with all of our plant-based materials.
