Special Guest Speaker: Dr. Maureen K. O’Connor Psy.D
Dr. O’Connor is a board certified Clinical Neuropsychologist. She earned her doctorate in psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed her internship at Yale University School of Medicine. She currently serves as the Director of the Neuropsychology Department at the Bedford VA Hospital, where she established the Memory Diagnostic Clinic. Also a gifted teacher, she mentors graduate students and neuropsychology residents, in her roles as Assistant Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine, and Associate Director of the Education Core for the Alzheimer’s Disease Center at Boston University. Dr. O’Connor’s research interests include studying and developing interventions to improve the lives of adults with memory loss, and family members that help provide care.
