In Memory of Ken Samoylenko

Constantine (Ken) Samoylenko’s life was defined by his love for travel and nature. Ken was an avid lover of the outdoors. During the winter months you could find him skiing at his beloved Sugarloaf Mountain where he was a season pass holder until the age of 82. In his retirement he led skiing, hiking, biking and paddling trips for the Appalachian Mountain Club and travelled to many remote destinations from Kenya to the Galapagos.

His family and friends remember him
as an outdoorsman and lover of the natural world and his legacy will live on through programs offered by The Nature Connection.

Please honor Ken’s life by making a donation to The Nature Connection to help make connections between people in need and the natural world.

Your gift will deliver live animals and natural materials to the most vulnerable individuals in our communities:  at-risk youth living in residential or foster homes, elders with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and youth and adults with disabilities.

Thank you for bringing the healing power of nature to vulnerable people of all ages.
