Cindy Sorensen

Cindy volunteers on the team that takes Nature Connection programs to children and adults. She is a retired special education teacher, who especially enjoyed attending her school system’s annual outdoor education program in Maine. Many of her teacher summers were spent as a sailing instructor on Boston Harbor. Before teaching, Cindy received a degree in art history from Connecticut College and worked as an architectural assistant. In addition to volunteering with The Nature Connection, she spends much of her time volunteering for a greyhound adoption group, Greyhound Friends, that finds homes for retired racing greyhounds. Cindy lives in Cambridge.
